  • The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins, all three— this is what got me into reading
  • The Picture of Dorian Gray, Oscar Wilde
  • The Secret History, Donna Tartt— her audiobook narration!! Lifechanging read
  • The Lord of the Rings, Tolkein— just a sprawling masterpiece
  • The Haunting of Hill House, Shirley Jackson
  • In the Dream House, Carmen Maria Machado- a perfect memoir that made me want to write my own one day (maybe)
  • Intuitive Eating, Evelyn Tribole— my Bible on treating myself well

  • Dance Academy- this is a 2000s Australian tween show, and I've seen it maybe 15 times? I can't explain it's importance to me. An early introduction to grief, queerness, and passion
